  Re: talent revealed

(...) Just to add to deborah's links, here is another example of Norberts fine art: (URL) The Space-heads in our club were particularly keen on this item. Play well. Tim Strutt (21 years ago, 7-Nov-04, to lugnet.parts.mod, lugnet.general, lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) i believe this "outing" of norbert's abilities may lead him to begin posting to our forum. he reads regularly and i have it from a good source that he might soon start to post. ask (...)   Re: talent revealed

(...) Thanks for tooting his horn for him. I have to agree that he has a very fine(1) hand with the brush! If you could convince him to post, perhaps to explain how he did the pink hair with the bouffant curlunder that would be swell. Toot toot (er, (...)   talent revealed

canada's capital lug, parlugment, is proud to have as a member a very talented modder who quietly demonstrates his talent without tooting his horn. it needs to be tooted and loudly. norbert black is a dab hand with a paintbrush and very handy with (...)   Re: Parts I'd like to see

(...) Hi, I remembered it was one of the postings from the most famous CD-publishing-announcer, Gary I. ;-) In which decade his CD should be published? (That's what I not remember...) So I did a search for "Istok" and found (URL) normaly I also have (...) (21 years ago, 5-Nov-04, to lugnet.parts)

Re: Parts I'd like to see

(...) This one? (URL) entered "wish list dream parts" into the search box and it found it-- Usually I guess I have pretty good luck with LUGNET searches, although there are occasions when I wish I could quote phrases, use escape characters, and do (...) (21 years ago, 5-Nov-04, to lugnet.parts)

Re: Parts I'd like to see

(...) I'm just thinking here, but... what's wrong with a 1x1 plate and a 1x1 tile sitting next to each other? What would this 1 piece do that the 2 together wouldn't do, (other than alleviate a 1x1 'stack' situation)? Not trying to be negative, just (...) (21 years ago, 5-Nov-04, to lugnet.parts)

  Parts I'd like to see

I know there was a thread a while back in which people listed parts they'd like to see made. I didn't have any luck with searching (is finding things on LUGNET hard for anyone else?), so I thought I'd start a new thread about it with a part I was (...)   Re: Strange new part in the 4562 bonus selection.

(...) I got some in many of the boxes I bought. I also got a 2x4 brick (just one) in light orange in a few of the boxes. I had never seen this color before, and they seem to be rare, running about $0.70 each on Bricklink. Roy (21 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts)

Re: What a trip I had to Markville!

(...) This is the BEST Halloween. How’s this for a Trick-or-Treat!!! I feel like one of those lucky people who tour a Lego factory and pick up an assortment of rare parts…I’ve always dreamt that I’d find 25-30 pieces of drk. Gray round shields from (...)   Strange new part in the 4562 bonus selection.

I picked up a few of the 4562 200+200 bonus piece sets from Walgreens a couple of days ago. These bonus type sets are definately great fun and I hope LEGO do more of them. In 12 of the 18 sets I got, there was a strange new part, just like this one: (...) (21 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts)

  Re: 4562 Revealed! *Version #2*

I've been reading the buzz today about the new 4562 set. There's a Walgreen's here where I live (Lafayette, IN) and one on the next town over the river too. I went to the first one not having any idea how much the set would cost. I was pleasantly (...) (21 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.inv, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.parts, FTX)

~Look! ----- O.k. so I’m big on one word titles that end with exclamation-marks! ;) But trust me, this is well worth it… Remember that elusive prototype ‘translucent-skeleton-horse’ that TLG never produced and some one got from one of their (...)   Re: DCC Controlled Signal

(...) I think with a red/green bi-colour LED you can get any colour between the two by varying the mark/space ratio of the alternating waveform. A DCC controller varies the mark/space ratio of a square wave in order to drive the motor at different (...) (21 years ago, 28-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.mod)
