I could definitely see this being used in a coupler design for trains...  :-)

(...) I got 6 of these from the 3 box I bought. And yes these are great for train couplers. I was just wishing for such a peice about 2 weeks ago. Pity it's not in dk grey or black. Mat (20 years ago, 8-Nov-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts)
