Re: Spring Meeting and Moonbase Modules

(...) Hi Pat, I've been trying to figure out this monorail stuff in conjuction with the modules and here is something to consider on top of what we already talked about. The ramp parts consist of two parts that take the monorail up (or down) a set (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.us.texlug)

  Re: Spring 2003 Meeting Planning

This is from Chris. He's not able to post just yet, and asked me to post for him. From: Christopher Richard Smith <jodokast@earthlink.net> Hi Everyone, I've been a little busy for the last few months. New Baby Boy and 12 1/2 hour shifts updating the (...)   Re: Spring 2003 Meeting Planning

(...) Just like the previous meeting, there will be a main layout (this time space) and room for other bits that people want to show off. I will be bringing my watermill, as well as anything I can throw together to add to the space layout. I don't (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.us.texlug)

  Re: Spring 2003 Meeting Planning

I want to make sure I grasp the theme of the meeting, the main being space, and there will be no train layout and no town, but i can bring my bigger and better crane. steve (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.us.texlug)

Re: Spring Meeting and Moonbase Modules

(...) Good call. How about the same height as the corridors, that is, eight bricks off the ground, but only if the track is "interacting" with the module in some way; for example, my super-module is going to be a combination of a monorail depot and (...)   Re: Spring Meeting and Moonbase Modules

(...) -snip- (...) Hey Pat, I'm all for figuring out a specific guideline on the monorails, but I thought of some other ideas to consider. One is: What height should we have the tracks at? The corridor doors are elevated, so should we put the tracks (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.us.texlug)

Re: Spring Meeting and Moonbase Modules

(...) TJ, you can bet your a..er, life that I'll be doing all these things before March 1. Last night (well...2AM) I constructed my first successful moonbase connecting corridor that conforms to all Project Moonbase (PM) standards! Yay!! BTW, My (...)   Spring Meeting and Moonbase Modules

Howdy all, I think most of us will be constructing moonbase modules for the upcoming spring 2003 meeting (in early March). Just a reminder, we'll be adhering to the guidelines set forth in the moonbase project: (URL) sure to check this out before (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.us.texlug)

Re: Opening Up a Can of Worms...

(...) Okay, that's two for "not the last weekend in March". I'm still trying to arrange something for early March. The last weekend is definitely out. I'll look at the first 3 weekends (1st, 8th, & 15th). Plan for that, I'm sure it's a good (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.us.texlug)

Re: Opening Up a Can of Worms...

(...) Ditto on the last weekend! That's my birthday weekend in Vegas! haha I can guarantee I won't be available then. (...) Sorry Laura! But if I revealed that information, I would have to kill myself for telling! Also, it wouldn't do any good this (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.us.texlug)
