Re: How about a Brickfest West?

Sorry I sniped everything out, too much to go through. One thing we should definately consider for this event is flexibility. Here in Lugola we have long strived to be as considerate to the distances people have to travel. It may be best to have (...)   How about a Brickfest West?

Well, I've been looking at the pics of Friday's Brickfest activities on Brickshelf, and checking out the webcams, and I'm jealous! I wanna go too! How about a Brickfest Northwest? Anyone in Seattle up for organising something like this? I don't (...)   Re: My MOC Fighter Plane (first posted)

Very cool! I like how you captured the "battered and used" appearance of SW vehicles (if you weren't trying to do that, good job, anyway!). I've always liked two-seaters, it's nice to think you'll have someone to talk to on those long patrols. Dave (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

Re: My MOC Fighter Plane (first posted)

(...) Very sleek. The colour scheme looks a bit like a "dazzle pattern" (as used on German Battleships in WW2), especially from the side, which is pretty neat. I don't ever remember seeing a twin canopy ship before..., it looks great! The only thing (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

(...) It's cool that you didn't like it, and buy all means fell free to say so. I was just trying to "get" where you were coming from. Shawn (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

Re: My MOC Fighter Plane (first posted)

(...) heh, seems that a lot of folks have that problem, i have some photos waiting to be converted to disk, but they're horribly dark and grainy (yet focused well oddly enough) so I'm holding back on them.   Re: My MOC Fighter Plane (first posted)

(...) My thoughts on that is since it is not a long range space craft or entering any atmosphere, there was no need for large engines. So on the undercarriage of the wings are black strips that are the thrusters, with the power generating part built (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

Re: My MOC Fighter Plane (first posted)

(...) Shawn, I like your model. It looks like it has an impressive array of weaponry, and I especially like the dual cockpit design. The landing gear looks OK, but I think the overall effect is better without it. (Then again, you'd retract it while (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

Re: My MOC Fighter Plane (first posted)

(...) Damn, I better skip the next SeaLug meeting and avoid being chastised in person :) The stands are just for display (maybe that will save me). Shawn (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

Re: My MOC Fighter Plane (first posted)

(...) There's a nice array of weaponry and I like the side by side cockpits, especially. The silhouette is very good, too. Nice and narrow from the side and the front. I would have to think it would be quite difficult to visually spot in space, (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

(...) I like the canopies sitting way back in the ship... although I bet it's a booger to land sitting that far back. Nice job, keep posting! Chris <>< (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

Re: My MOC Fighter Plane (first posted)

Well, I think the name says it all myself. Although the pics are very yellowed, I could make out enough to say that I'm not particularly impressed with your moc. It really depends on what you were going for, unfortuantely you didn't give enough (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

My MOC Fighter Plane (first posted)

Hello All, I called this MOC “Dual Pilot Fighter Plane”. I should probably work harder on naming my creations. This is the first model I have posted on the internet, so be nice to me :) There are 50 studs nose to tail, 32 studs at its widest point, (...)   Jurassic Park III sets spotted: Bellevue TRU

I have now spotted several of the JPIII sets. I saw the Stanasaurus attacks and one other set at TRU in Bellevue. The "attack" set comes with a nice tree and a small plane.
