Hello -
I wanted to send out a reminder that the next SeaLUG meeting is right
around the corner on July 7th at 1:00pm. Please email me or the SeaLUG
email: SEALUG@yahoogroups.com for directions/questions.
The "theme" for this meeting is actually a challenge to produce something
with 20 bricks or less. It doesn't matter what scale or theme, just make it
so we can all go "Oh yeah, that's a (blank)". Parts should be counted as
they would be in instructions, so if the instructions show to put two parts
together then they are two separate parts - like a 1x2 hinge brick (what I
once called an "up & down brick" when I was a kid).
Also at this meeting, I will be hosting another challenge that will test
your LEGO brick knowledge (but not the way you might first guess). To give
you enough time to "hone your skills" - be very familiar with the shape of
most common bricks and plates (maybe a tile/modified tile or two also). A
small prize will be presented as well.
I hope everyone can make it!
Thanks
Mark
