Hmmm.  Well, we've played smallish games so far.  My main forces have included
two squads of five men, and a couple of vehicles (with pilots, etc).  We tend
to each make smaller detachments and team up once we're all there (by • consensus
of what makes the most sense).

Yikes, and I was thinking a Hundered or Two! I'm thinking a game with 50
people total would end really quick. Maybe that's just my inexperience
talking. Here's what I'm bringing:

300+ Western Blue coat soldiers
100+ Indians ( They could fit into a castle war as light foot soldiers )
100 or so Ninjas ( black and Grey )
50+ Samurai ( red and Blue )
130+ Horses ( can be used as cavalry for any force )
26 Cannons ( Wheeled, look  )
70-100 Castle Warriors- All types

Double Yikes!

We've typically set up our games so that each player fields abut 300-400 or so
*points* worth of troops, equipment, etc. - which means one of us could use 60 or
80 troops, if we were willing to forego weapons, vehicles, and the little fun
devices of mass destruction.  As it is, with typically 15-20 troops per player, we
usually only finish about 4 or 5 turns over the course of the day.

Though if you typically moved troops in squads or 5 or 10, and only broke them up
when they were in combat situations, using more might be veeerrrryyy interesting!
