Ooh, Ooh, I just thought of something.  Hadn't we also specified for this
game that any multiple bonuses (for attributes, damage, etc.) have to be
reduced to D6's as far as possible?  That is:

+1 --> +1
+2 --> +2
+3 --> +1d6
+4 --> +1d6+1
+5 --> +1d6+2
+6 --> +1d6+3
+7 --> +2d6
etc.

Or is it?:

+1 --> +1
+2 --> +2
+3 --> +3
+4 --> +1d6
+5 --> +1d6+1
+6 --> +1d6+2
+7 --> +2d6
etc.

Oh yeah-- I think I'd go for the 1st one, though admittedly I kinda flip-flopped
between them in the last game, depending on whether or not the troop was
suffering from a weakness or a strength. But I think I defaulted more towards
the 1st one. Obviously bearing in mind that the final number is never more than
0.5 away from the original number:

3  --> 1d6   =  3.5
6  --> 1d6+3 =  6.5 != 2d6 = 7
9  --> 2d6+2 =  9.0 != 3d6 = 10.5
12 --> 3d6+2 = 12.5 != 4d6 = 14
15 --> 4d6+1 = 15.0 != 5d6 = 17.5
18 --> 5d6+1 = 18.5 != 6d6 = 21
21 --> 6d6   = 21.0 != 7d6 = 24.5

etc.

And while we're at it, we had also said "no ninjas or ninja stealth", but that's
all I can think of for anything that was a way-early-on decision. (Except maybe
our discussion on hit points for overly strong units, but I'm more tempted to
play that one by ear)

Actually, I always used the second one!  I think what I said in the original
game is that you would never have more than a "+3" for any particular attribute
unless it was then augmented further from some magical thing or what not.  The
second one seems to be the better representation (at least to me).

P.S. I'm not nearly as insane as Shaun and Dave.  Take pity on me.
