Id suggest that this be changed - A unit shooting through the wormhole
needs to calculate (in its head) relationships between 4 objects: The
shooter, the portal entrance, the portal exit, and the target. Add to
this the fact that its shooting not in the direction its looking at,
and Id say that shot is a lot harder to make.
Also, in some cases, the shot is just not possible. Bad ascii art
follows:

Theres just no way the shooter can shoot through the portal, and
actually hit the target - unless its some sort of heat seeking missile,
I guess.

Actually, I think Dave meant to say:

Theres nothing to stop you from shooting/throwing a weapon of some sort into a
wormhole, but you are, in this case, at a disadvantage. If fact, it needs to
follow the same rules as if you are trying to shoot at something you cant see.

| (...) hmmm... that's how I think, but that's not how it was explained to me. I will agree that if you can see the other end of the wormhole, and see your target, you should be able to do SOME aiming... but it won't be easy! (21 years ago, 25-Jun-03, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

I had intended to *not* include the 'not' so that distance and speed relative to the attacker still applied as though the wormhole isn't there (since he has to look at the object *without* aid of the wormhole), but Dan's (...)
