an optional rule box.


  ix) Wormholes are directional, so re-orienting objects/velocities
      is allowed, however the wormhole will always retain the same
      orientation.

Wormholes are always stationary relative to the battlefield.  If you build a
Wormhole on top of a wall and somebody knocks down the wall, then the portal
remains hanging in midair.  Units can hide behind one, but they can't carry one
around and use it as a portable shield generator.
