  Re: NELUG BrikWars 04-29-2000

If you change your mind, let me know - I'm in a good location (work in Cambridge, live in Waltham, and timing-wise) to play livery-man this weekend. I could probably provide rides from airport to hotel, from hotel to brikwars, and from brikwars to (...) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: NELUG BrikWars 04-29-2000

(...) Hmm. Well, uh, we're kinda loose with planning meetings of any kind... we probably won't know about the next BrikWars event until at least after this one. This one follows close on the heels of the last one (April 1) because much of the (...) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) MMm..... Hmmmm.. Well, there are some. They aren't *real* close, but they are in Waltham, so if you're thinking about driving up, you should be all set. There's a Doubletree Suites (781-890-6767), the Westin Hotel (781-290-5600), and the (...) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

I want to go too... not sure we could get up there for a reasonable price though... are there any hotels near Brandeis? (24 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  NELUG BrikWars 04-29-2000

This has been announced previously, and was discussed after the last BrikWars game and at Lizzy's, but: The New England Lego User's Group will be gathering at Brandeis University this coming Saturday (April 29th) to pound each other into the dirt (...)   Just a reminder... Construction Site Castle setup April 30th.

I just wanted to reminded everyone that we are still planning on setting up the Castle display at TCS on Sunday April 30th. In talking with Crispin we can set up any time durring regular store hours (Noon - 6pm) on Sunday. I expect it will take us a (...) (24 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: NELUG Common LEGO Collection

First off I am still very interested in doing this I just have not had time to follow up on it here. (...) I agree that it would be nice to have it sorted to some degree although maybe not as completely as some of us sort our own collections. At (...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: NELUG Common LEGO Collection

(...) I did a bit more thinking about this. For a portable storage solution, we'd definitely want sealed containers like those Plano tackle boxes.   NELUG Common LEGO Collection

There was some chatter going on up here awhile back about establishing a common LEGO collection for our organization.   Re: What would a howitzer be ??

Ahh, that's it! I looked up vehicle stats in the Brikwars 2000 tome (I'm slowly making the conversion from version '98), and it all makes sense to me. Under the 2000 guidelines, the halftrack is actually a "huge" treaded vehicle, with base stats of (...) (24 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.gaming)

Re: What would a howitzer be ??

(...) Well it does say that you can tow other, smaller vehicles, with a movement penalty equal to that vehicles power rating.   What would a howitzer be ??

Here's my dilemna - how should I treat a WWII-style howitzer in Brikwars rules? The barrel, from breech to tip, is 16 studs long, and it's simply mounted on a two-wheel chassis with which to be towed by my Sd.kfz 251 Halftrack. When we last played (...)
