Re: Setup, Breakdown, and representation at the Train Show.

(...) I'm willing to help with this part of the setup, provided I can get transportation to do so. (...) ...and should be able to be at the show all day Saturday.   Sign's and Flyers for the Show.

I was just wondering if someone could volunteer to make up a few signs and maybe a flyer for the Train Show. Mostly I am thinking we need a few "Do Not Touch" signs. Other than that if someone wants to work on a NELUG flyer for the show that would (...) (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Expanded Main Street scene and Commuter Rail Station

(...) I think I have a train that would go nicely with the station. I plan on expanding the fire station in my scene as soon as I get a few of the red half arches that I won on e-bay. Hopefully before the show. (...) My scene has gray sidewalks, (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Re: New Gondola and a Commuter Rail station

(...) We did have ropes, and they were constantly getting crowded back into our layout. We did have some kids touching stuff on the layout, but only 1 who did any grabbing, and that got stopped real fast. (He was grabbing at the bridge!) (...) We (...) Eric Kingsley wrote in message ... (...) although (...) hence (...) Are you going to have ropes around the layout?   Re: New Gondola and a Commuter Rail station

(...) This is actually a bit of a hybrid. The table top dimensions are the same as WAMALTC but the leg design is the same as PNLTC. The table tops are 40.5"x40.5" which is the same as 4 32x32 baseplate by 4 32x32 baseplate. (...) Yah actually we (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Expanded Main Street scene and Commuter Rail Station

(...) I agree that Grey would have been better but the black is OK. I don't consider all the black tiles a waist however because if they come out with Gray tiles in bulk I will probably do my roads with black tiles with Gray sidewalks and do away (...)   Re: Expanded Main Street scene and Commuter Rail Station

Wow Eric, It is hard to believe that this model can keep getting better. You'd think that you would eventually max it out. :-) This is just fantastic.   Expanded Main Street scene and Commuter Rail Station

In anticipation for the Greenburg show in 2 weeks I have expanded my Main Street scene and created a commuter rail station. (...) Jorge, Your Ferris Wheel looks great. I tentatively added it to the layout although depending on what others decide to bring this could change if a more appropriate spot is found. (URL) Kingsley The New England LEGO Users Group (URL) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Hello, I've posted some (poorly illuminated) pictures of the Ferris Wheel for the Greenburg Train Show. It's motorized by a Lego micromotor. Check here: (URL) still working on the fiber optics...   Nov. 18th Directions

Hi all, So far it looks as if at least 5 people will be showing up on Saturday to strategize and imply some good old-fashioned plastic bloodletting at Brikwars 1250 A.D.   REMINDER: this saturday

For all who are interested, there will be a medieval-themed brikwars showdown at my apartment this coming weekend, on Saturday, the 18th.
