  Re: Mountain Layout

(...) Um, Jason, not James. (...) Well, yes, and no. BURPS for the basic structure. To make up the vast majority of the mass. But lots of other bricks (green, grey, dark grey, brown, black) to give it a more random and natural feel. Trees, shrubs, (...) (25 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Mountain Layout

James, Are you planning on making the mountian out of all burps? I had a similar plan in mind that used lots of green bricks like Jeff's mountians at Train2. Anywho, I suggest you have one track running through the mountian and one on the outside. (...) (25 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Mountain Layout

(...) (Just offering some friendly suggestions from experience...) (...) It depends a lot on how wide your mountain is. In general though, I'd suggest only 1, especially if your mountain goes around a corner. If you stick to LEGO's standard spacing (...) (25 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Mountain Layout

(...) Jason I suggest splitting the parallel track with one going up and through and the other running through a cut in the mountain. This has visual appeal and may use less components Lester (25 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Mountain Layout

Ok, I now have enough BURPS to start construction on the Mountain. But I have few questions. 1. Should I have two tracks running through the mountain or only one? 2. Should it be built for a corner or a straight run of track? 3. If I do indeed build (...) (25 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Wanted: 3 x 4 tan panels (from oasis ambush)

Trevor & All, (...) Boy, did I miss this one! Well, after several negotiation settlement meetings, nuclear warfare, and peace treaties, my wife has graciously decided to let me set up a BB store, so I can get rid of the remaining TSSC stuff. I will (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

The colors for my IRL model are Red engine pieces, all black fighter, and trans-light blue cockpit pieces. I can provide a few (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

(...) Protestors protesting the Gungan in the meat dept? And here I thought that all red-blooded humans would love the gamey taste of minced Gungan...this won't bode well for my union of Gungan canners... ~Trev (25 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: september 8th meeting

(...) would (...) Ringe 1:00 is probably a good time to start, we can have a gourmet pizza dinner in the evening. I don't think we need an end time, whenever people are tired of talking LEGO, they can leave. :) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: september 8th meeting

  Re: september 8th meeting

(...) Well, in Steve's message here: (URL) says "We can start as early as we want and end as late as we want." So I guess we should all mention what we want. As it is a 3hr drive for me, I would prefer around 1:00pm +-1hr. Ending just as he said (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

what time are we planning on starting ? thanks kai (25 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Parts for Meijers in GATS

Rick I had a couple ideas about the Meijer's. First a Meijer's parking lot usually has a gas station or banfk in it maybe you could coordinate with Scott. Also if there is a large open space (the parking lot) have some non-building thing in it. (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Parts for Meijers in GATS

(...) I am sticking with the 2x3 Footprint, granted I can get the thing on a side, where the chop-off effect off the tables causes the perspective to seem like the parking lot is not shown. Also, I am wondering how I am doing the inside, because I (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
