Thanks for the reply, Mark. (...) Both motors had Digitrax DN121 decoders (...) I don't think the DN121 has this. (...) Both had the factory default speed tables. However, I think that test was done with no load of cars, so the additional cars may help hold the motor down on the track. It is worth a try if we (...) (...) Yet another reply to the problem was that it is very likely to have been over heating! The problem I guess is likely to occure when running the heavier engines and cars with DCC.
