Re: My First Mech ... Please Critic

(...) Brian, I thought this creation was a hoot. For several reasons it reminded me why I do this in the first place. You built a mech just because you wanted to and grow with it. Good for you! The legs are thin, could be filled in with brick or (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.org.us.cedarlug, FTX)

(...) PlatforMechABDI/1.jpg>> (...) Brian, I'm really not a fan of the ED-209 type mechs, but even then, this one isn't so bad.   Re: My First Mech ... Please Critic

Hi Brian! One thing you'll notice that is different between ball joint and gear driven mechs is the range of motion using gears is very linear. That being the case, balance will now be a larger factor in building than it ever was before. My personal (...) (19 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.org.us.cedarlug, FTX)

  BrickVEGAS??

  The Most Powerful Jedi Ever

  Re: A Christmas Train

(...) Ouch! Thanks for the advice Mat. I had no idea that the caboose didn't match the passenger train. Like you mentioned I went mostly for color.   Re: A Christmas Train

(...) Brian, the train is fine. From what I can see it's an off the shelf mix. While you're not likley to see an american cabose with a Brittish GW passenger train in real life, the colors do match nicely. Might I suggest you get some of the Holiday (...)   A Christmas Train

I start out with a confession ... I am no "Engineer" but my love for LEGO knows no bounds. Here is a Christmas Train that I designed for my home.   Re: Prepare Your Troops for a Surface Attack

(...) As much geek-appeal as that would have, I'm glad Lucas didn't fall into that trap. Part of what made the OT so good was the fact that instead of spending 10 minutes on a few details, he'd spend a few seconds on a thousand details. It has a way (...)
