CedarLUG is officially back to our regular meetings which for those who are new
to the club is every second and fourth wednesday night at 7 p.m.
On Wednesday night we basically got back in shape by building a few simple
models. Since we are such Star Wars fanatics we focused mainly on that. We
built the original 7140 X-wing Fighter, the 7155 AAT and then a hand-full of
mini-models.
We have begun discussing up-coming MOCs and have decided on a dagobah scene. It
seems to have been overlooked in the MOCing areas and we could submit it to the
contest that LEGO.com is running.
After comparing the 7140 X-wing to the 4502 X-wing we decided that it would be
best to go with the newer model but we will definately make a custom hut for
yoda.
We also discussed the Celebration III idea again and would like to make the
suggestion to LUGs around the U.S. to see if there would be any interenet in
participation.
Our next meeting will be September 8th.
