| All, Here's a recap of last Sunday's TexLUG meeting in Austin. Our building theme was castle; we also put up a Great Ball Contraption and held a robotic sumo contest. The meeting was well-attended, despite the last-minute change of venue from (...) (21 years ago, 15-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.texlug, lugnet.loc.us.tx.aus, lugnet.loc.us.tx, lugnet.robotics)

|
| (...) If it's any help, my first line-following event (NEIRG, with up to 135° sharp turns) I resolved to start from scratch and "be original". By event day, I ended up with Ben Hur's little brother quite unintentionally. But it worked. (...) Yes, (...) (21 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, FTX)
| | | | | Re: Identify a zig

| (...) Actually, the sensors are a pretty flat V. But, how can you tell if (A) you passed a zig in the road or (B) you passed a somewhat sharp turn? Steve (21 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)
| | | | | Re: line follower?

Gee - funny you should ask :) Since none of my ideas were going to look real original any more after playing around at your house last weekend, I resolved to make the rack & pinion approach work better. So, I redesigned the drive train and (...) (21 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, FTX)

With my current program, I really can't treat it like a broken line, because it's NOT a broken line. :) As long as the line is under the row of seven light sensors, the robot knows how it needs to adjust. | | | | | Re: Identify a zig

| | | | | Re: Identify a zig
