  Re: OK, here's the update

(...) No, we didn't - they use the same forms for vendors and exhibitors and it's a bit confusing. We don't have to ask for tables either, which the form goes on about (unless we want some).   Re: OK, here's the update

(...) Agreed. Overall, the reply is good. (...) That's what I mentioned in the first email I sent him. So, I'll just reply with "ASAP" and check in again in a couple weeks. Robin PS Kevin, I got the entry forms today in the mail, and am taking them (...) (23 years ago, 11-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  OK, here's the update

I got email back from the venue coordinator for the TTOS show. Among other things, I asked him about sizes and exposure of spaces available at their public show (August 5th). His reply is below: (...) I have a couple of questions. Kevin, do you (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Train Show non-Update

Hi all, Just to let you all know that I've contacted the organizers of both the shows we're interested in doing, but have yet to receive any replies. I'll keep you posted here. Robin PS Anyone working on layout plans? More ideas? (23 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Station Idea

My idea for the large train station would be something along these lines, just smaller. I see perhaps only 2 straight through lines, with 2 sidings off one side (terminated at the end) for a total of 4 under the roof. Somehow we'd work in the (...) (23 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Idea for Thomas

(...) It's fine with me if you want to do this, Kevin. I'll email my address to you (new since April 1st). We should decide and get this in ASAP. I was reviewing the material on their web site, and it definitely weighted display size and location to (...) (23 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Hogwart's Express

(...) I'm not sure I have enough of those wheels anyway. Can anyone tell me all the sets that these wheels came in? (I know that there is a site or utility out there that has this info, but I don't have time to hunt it down. Anyone know where I can (...) (23 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Robin Sather wrote in message <3aec907c.13145349@l...et.com>... (...) Don't sweat it, Robin. If you have enough of the big red spoked wheels, use those. The kids will look mostly at the body, not the wheels (see my Thomas where the (...) (23 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Robin Sather wrote in message <3aec904a.13095239@l...et.com>... (...) Yes, I've seen that one before.   Train Show Brainstorming Notes - LONG!

TRAIN SHOWS 2001 - Brainstorming Notes From VLC Meeting - April 27, 2001 These are primarily Kevin's and my notes from the first ideas session. I've added a couple of other ideas in the meantime. Hi all, I'll be out of town from May 1st until the 21st. Just to keep you all posted. Will try to find GOODIES while I'm gone. :) Bryan (23 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Stock Yard Trials

A few more ideas (uploaded to Dean's akasa ftp site): R-Yard7 - This idea is just me experimenting with track geometry. This thing would take up WAAAY too much space, and requires some fudging. It might, however, spark an idea in someone's head. (...) (23 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Hogwart's Express

(...) As for the large spoked wheels, we could try using the large wagon wheels. They come in brown and black.
