These are two different things.
You can't just expect people to let you in because you have your signal
on in backed up traffic. All this does is slow them down. The only way
to do it is to start jamming your nose into the other lane. This gives
them the options of letting you go ahead or weaving around you. Either
way, you just keep jamming it in further until they can no longer get by.
As far as the cell phone and coffee goes, she will die soon. Hopefully
she won't take anyone else with her.
