  Re: Life is interesting...

(...) Ya, I have one of these that I used as kid. I must have used it a lot too because many of the studs are well worn. Some to the point of the Lego logo missing, other are almost dome shaped. They are a bit annoying these days though, because (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Life is interesting...

(...) I know the baseplate I had when I was a kid was very well used. It was also missing a corner, after i discovered that these baseplates make a perfectly acceptable frisbee (in a pinch). So when I look at the stack of baseplates, I can always (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) You know I might have 1 or 2 of those trees from set 490. Must remember to look for them the next time I go home. Almost threw them out thinking they weren't lego. Derek (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) If your soon-to-be wife has any siblings, be sure none of them marries another AFOL and grant yourself a secret source of LEGO! :-P (...) I thought of the answer when remembering an 1967 catalog I own, somehow I recalled seeing baseplates with (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Life is interesting...

(...) I dunno, I have a pair too. I think they're older ones: (URL) always have them left out of my layout modules, because they're non standard, so I pick them first when starting a new project (because I never have enough 48x48's around), then (...)   Re: Life is interesting...

(...) Speaking of odd base plates, does anyone know where my yellow 16x18 came from? I got 2 in a garage sale last weekend. I searched through various inventory database and found nothing, although they are available on bricklink shops. (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
