Yup. A Farad. The unit you're *used* to seeing with greek letters in
front of it.
Now, the cap has a voltage rating of 2.5 V. Someone with more
electronics than I can explain what this means. But 1 F = 1 C / V, and
a Coloumb is an Amp for a second; so we're talking enough energy to make
a small vacuum cleaner go for a second, here.
Oh - I wound it up using a motor, until the "full" light lit. It turned
a 9v motor (RIS 1.0 style) with a z40 gear crank for just a little over
37 minutes with no load.
Yup, more than half an hour. Motor goes fairly slowly, but (at least at
first) it's got some torque.
