| | Hello all, I was attempting to get more room for the altenburg port lands... since there is not that much space to begin with... and I came up with this design... (URL) an up close view: (URL) will give me room for 2 - 3 ships to be docked (2 (...) (22 years ago, 11-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

This could also be a problem. How about this idea, in the interest of making (...) (22 years ago, 11-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

| | | | | (...) Ok, I did up a picture of this idea. Marked the modules in Red. (URL) worry about the strange cross over under Altenburg. We don't have to talk about that now, I know how much Chris hates it when I talk about modifying parts. :-) Derek (22 years ago, 11-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

| | | | | | (...) LEGO should really make that part anyway--it would be a definite seller, 'specially if it came in a pack of 2--you could design some pretty nifty layouts with that type of crossing. My humble opinion... Dave K (22 years ago, 11-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

I think there's going to be a lot of competition to install cranes into the Portlands :) I'd like to point out (Jeff, pay heed!) that there's going to need to be a mountainfront cliff and two tunnel entrances where (...) We need to cut it down in size quick, or we'll have a lot of unused space which (...) (22 years ago, 12-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Well, the way I see it is like this: We spent a lot of time wrangling with the track geometry, and the original "core" layout is as small as we can get, and still have the features we wanted, ie: two track levels, a perpendicular 2-level (...) | | | | Wow, that's a lot of shoehorning! I think you're going to run into four basic problems with this layout: 1) Curves into Calum's station aren't going to work 2) The geometry is a bit iffy, which will lead to track breaks 3) The tight parallel curves (...)
