Darn. I thought that was Oliver's poster. My apologies. It is however,
very very cool. I never heard the full story on this item. Where did you
find it? As a kid I would have killed to have such a poster. I loved Space!
It was my favourite theme. I had the Galaxy Explorer, the two bases-the
6970 and the 920 launch pad among others. My room looked the scene on that
poster-I had the crater and yellow road plates all laid out on my floor.
(Yes, even at a young age, I shunned Technic. My father brought home three
853 Auto Chassis from Consumers' liquidation center (now the Winners at
Kipling and Queensway) and tried to piece together one from them. I think
he got like two and a half. I never could understand it.)

| (...) That poster was part of the 72 set garage sale find from Sept. 8 and 23. I've never been too interested in the space theme (too much blue and grey) and, if I recall correctly, all of my Lego space sets have come from garage sales in the last (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
