What if the event was run as part of a larger toy event. A big toy show happens
every year up at the International Centre up by the airport in November. These
shows are prety much all dealers and Toy Pirates selling overpriced Beanie
Babies and Star Wars figures. Pretty much NO Lego anywhere to be seen. The show
tries to have programming and events, like an "Antiques Roadshow" idea. So
surely the show might like to have something different.
If a Lego Fest was held with this show, LOTS of people would already be there,
so you'd get lots of people in. But... Do you only want people who are real
AFOLs? Will it be a problem is stupid kids keep touching stuff or those creepy
action figure people keep wandering in? How big is too big? How small is too
small?
I guess it really depends how "exclusive" you want the event.
