That's the largest barrier for me with that NXT...studless construction. I know
there are studless converts here (Iain, JohnG, Ivan) but for me, I find it
really difficult. It's like Chris and programming in C.

Actually, I think the NXT itself with the software is a lot easier to use than
the RCX, but that's just me.

| (...) That's what I found at FLL this year too. A lot of teams had NXTs but didn't end up using them because they found them harder to build with. The kids get the idea of stacking blocks one on top of another. It's a whole other head space when (...) (18 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

| First build--the AlphaRex The bad--the instructions have the 'rubber' foot non slippy thing on one side but not the other. I found that the 'bot walks better when there's rubber on both feet. someone'll probably tell me that's it's missing for (...) (18 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
