There is a typo: "The robot does not need to be [on] its side to at the end of three minutes to win." (...) (19 years ago, 19-Jul-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Tentative Ruleset —Calum Tsang
(...) Thanks for the catch...I've changed it. Do 2x4's have the same dimensions everywhere or is it regional, depending on how they dry after cutting at the mill? Calum (19 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Tentative Ruleset —Chris Magno
(...) we should just BUILD the thing and TELL people the dimensions. (19 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Tentative Ruleset —Rob Antonishen
(...) eh - I first read that as "The robot does not need to be on its side" as in on ITS side, rather than upright. you know....like....sideways.. Now I understand :) so......no other restrictions other than the 'must fit between the pivot and 12" (...) (19 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Tentative Ruleset —Calum Tsang
(...) Well, I can't really think of anything that would really need regulation. Weight...well, there's only so much you can make out of Lego. You can make it a game of Sumo if you want, you can try something altogether crazy and do something else. (...) (19 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Tentative Ruleset —Calum Tsang
(...) Your comment makes sense. We were talking about it and Derek suggested we start everyone at the edges of the beam. So you start at a 12" marker from the edge. If no one has any objections, I'll change it tonight. Calum (19 years ago, 25-Jul-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Tentative Ruleset —Rob Antonishen
(...) Was this changed in the rule set? Still looks the original way (though it could be due to the peachy failure and subsequent recovery)... -Rob A> (19 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Tentative Ruleset —Calum Tsang
(...) No, I forgot to change it. Another one of those things I've simply plain forgot. Damn, I'll change it tonight. I also need one of Derek's giant minifigures for the poster. Calum (19 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Tentative Ruleset —Derek Raycraft
(...) Which one? I've got lots of pictures, I've just never posted them. Don't say Darth Vader, he's still not done yet. If you want a real one the only one left is the red space man. How do you zip files on a Mac? Derek (19 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Tentative Ruleset —Derek Raycraft
(...) Not sure. What do you want to do? It's buried under the train layout so this better be good. :-) Derek (19 years ago, 10-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Tentative Ruleset —Derek Raycraft
