yes, i burn cd backups, and yes i have a partial cd back up of the baby pics,
but i do not back up as often s i should....  to paraphrase from some good book,
"let ye who ALWAYS back up, cast the first stone"

the good news is that all my pics, mp3's, and various software was fully
recovered... AS WELL as a number of images, and files that were errased from
when the drive was CALUMS.  web page to follow.

(...) OK, lets just set the record straight Mr. Tsang, and that other chick! (aka smurfette) 1. it was ~I~ who borrowed a 10 GIG spare drive from Calum to PUT all that data on. 2. I was following ALL of calums advice for a clean install of XP, on a (...) (20 years ago, 27-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
