Re: The NEXT game. —Calum Tsang
(...) Anything anyone wants will be flat out ignored. Sick of doing games where the requestor doesn't show the hell up (Rob, Matthias, Greg :). (...) I've been dying to do a rope/over our heads game for a long long time. LEAVE NO PART OF YOUR ROBOT (...) (21 years ago, 2-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: The NEXT game. —John Gerlach
(...) Just a suggestion from an 'outsider' (non-RTL person) - how about robots that have to climb the rope, then back down to the ground, and back to their starting spot, or to a common "finish line"? This would make multiple challenges: Find the (...) (21 years ago, 2-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: The NEXT game. —Steve Hassenplug
(...) When you say the whole robot... never mind. I think that's pretty clear. :) (...) ... (...) This suggestion has already been added to the "Rob, Matthias, Greg" pile, right? (21 years ago, 2-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: The NEXT game. —David Koudys
(...) In defence of Rob, he showed up for Marble Sorting (or hoarding... whatever). In defence of me, I've let the leaders know when I was going to be involved, or not going to be involved, in a competition well before hand. Don't 'dumb' things down (...)          Re: The NEXT game. —Greg Hyland
(...) The rope climbing sounds interesting... I could try it. However, I always up for a "marble sorting/block stacking/whatever competition." Maybe enter both! And I'll really, really try to be there this time! -Greg (21 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: The NEXT game. —Chris Magno
(...) snip (...) ya ya, what ever, MR. Famous. Mr. I'm-off-to-europe-to...autographs mr. look at me, I'm paid to NOT enter RTL games... bah Chris (21 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: The NEXT game. —David Koudys
(...) I'll run another marble sorting if the desire is ther (and the leaders approve) I think, though, the rope climbing is a Good Thing(tm). Just so I get more excercise, I'd say that the 4x4 arena should be there, that the 'bots start in the (...) (21 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: The NEXT game. —Brian Davis
(...) Or, two robots, one rope, first to the top wins. Talk about the possibilities for an "elimination" style competition - perhaps the rope should dangle over a bunch of pillows, or a deep box of styrofoam peanuts... (21 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: The NEXT game. —Trevyn Watson
I like this idea, and will probably attempt to build a robot. (...) From the department of redundancy department... But seriously, 3 feet sounds good. (...) None, other than itself. (...) None.         Re: The NEXT game. —Rob Stehlik
(...) Actually, I couldn't be more happy with my decision to forego C4. I knew I was in way over my head. I had a lot of fun entering my silly marble robot on Saturday. Probably the most fun I've had at a competition yet. Thanks for running the game (...) (21 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
