Re: Steve H, C$, me learning C Brick OS —Michael Purvis
(...) Cygwin is a program that emulates (read: pretends to be) a *nix platform on what's really windows. So you can use a Cygwin platform to run the cross-compiler and downloader and whatever else that otherwise would only work on Linux. So you need (...)       (...) Its actually not THAT hard. If I can figure it out, then anyone can. I actually made a CD for Michael with all of the necessary files and a complete set of instructions. He seemed to have no troubles after that. Rob (21 years ago, 9-Jan-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Steve H, C$, me learning C Brick OS —Rob Stehlik
(...) Alright, alright. I admit installing BrickOS is a royal pain. I guess after doing it a couple times I got the hang of it.       (...) I'm very sure there will be an XR7 class robot at rtl15. (x=rnd(7)) I think it would be very hard to build a complete robot that can scan the board with only one motor. I have a C$ robot with only one motor. We'll see how it does. :) Steve (21 years ago, 10-Jan-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
