(...) <snip> Well done Calum!! Excellent job as always. Looking forward to showing this at Brickfest.... I'm amazed you were able to fit so many events and footage into just one video and one song.   Re: new pneumatic switch leaks

I've had three QA problems recently that I hadn't had before with Lego. 1) Set #7469 was missing a 1x4 gray brick (used as the base of the gantry tower) and a page in the instruction booklet required the publication of a black & white errata (...)   Re: new pneumatic switch leaks

(...) Another example of bad QA by Lego. I received my 8455 too but for me it's pneumatic cylinder that is defective. :( (21 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)

  new pneumatic switch leaks

So, I'm done. I built the new 8455, and I like it a lot. A few good parts, some neat tips in the building instructions. I decided to try to "play with the thing" before I ripped it apart and make my rice robot... I pump the pumps a few times, and I (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Newer Layout was Re: November Hobby Show Layout

(...) I'm not rejecting this idea, but I'd like to see what else we can come up with. One thing this layout doesn't address is our need for more interiour space. I'd like us to try and work out a few designs that would address this issue. (...) This (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Newer Layout was Re: November Hobby Show Layout

(...) I liked the ideas with the large lake and bridges. (...) I suspect our strategy for Hobby Show should be a relatively small and flat layout. We'll divide modules by land again, realestate style, but it'll be mostly existing buildings. This (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I borrowed one from the Faculty of Education library once, back in 1994. I took the giant box home, and had to borrow a Macintosh Classic II in a bag just to run it.
