Another example of bad QA by Lego.
I received my 8455 too but for me it's pneumatic cylinder that is defective. :(

| I've had three QA problems recently that I hadn't had before with Lego. 1) Set #7469 was missing a 1x4 gray brick (used as the base of the gantry tower) and a page in the instruction booklet required the publication of a black & white errata (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)

| So, I'm done. I built the new 8455, and I like it a lot. A few good parts, some neat tips in the building instructions. I decided to try to "play with the thing" before I ripped it apart and make my rice robot... I pump the pumps a few times, and I (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
