  Re: [rtlToronto] Roadshow 2003 Toronto

(...) As a side note: "I spent $26 CDN to spend about 2 hours at the LEGO show. Maybe next time LEGO will pick a more reasonable place to have a cool event." Think of it less as a destination than as an interesting sideshow. I believe the the idea (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Well I now updated it, so that it is essentially complete. I added text included a description of each station, and added pictures where appropriate. Thanks, Ben (21 years ago, 11-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: New Stuff at TRU

(...) Awesome that they've got this stuff - pricing at St Jacobs is $135 for the 8544, $90 for the 8454 Rescue Truck. So 10% less. But I don't know if they have them yet. (...) Omigawd! I just looked that up... I want these! How can it only be $20? (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  New Stuff at TRU

Hey guys, New stuff spotted at TRU this evening. Prices are if I remember correctly. Gravity Games: 3535 Skateboard Street Park $15 (Arch pack) And a whole lot more. Couldn't be bothered to remember.   Re: Cutting Rail and Rejoining it

(...) I love to cut stuff, especially Lego ... evil laugh heard in the background. Seriously, cutting the track is the least of your worries!   Re: Cutting Rail

(...) A Dremel with a cut off wheel does a good job, the cuts were straight and narrow. I used it to modify my switch tracks and if you have the flexible shaft attachment it is even easier. Also purchase the small wire brush wheel to clean up any (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Cutting Rail

(...) I didn't have a hack saw, or the like. Seriously, know what I did? Got one of the big knifes out of the drawer. It cut the metal and left a very small gap. I then took a file and smoothed out the little burrs. Worked. Dave K (21 years ago, 10-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Cutting Rail

David, you've cut track before. What do you use to cut the metal cap on the rails. I'd like to cut it cleanly without crimping it or bending it. I've taken it off the plastic part of the track because I don't want to damage that part of the track. (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
