  Re: interesting (subway) news...

(...) It's been pretty obvious they've been courting the federal government-a major media campaign was staged on billboards and advertising all over the system in the last year. The new line of course, is the controversial Sheppard line, championed (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Decisions Decisions...

(...) I like them in this order: 8880 Supercar, 8466 SUV, 8448 Supercar II. What I didn't like about the 8448 was that it was technically less complex than the one before it. The 8466 returned to the same level of complexity as the 8880, but was (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: A major concern: Where to find basic bricks?

(...) I had the same thought about the Yoda. I was eyeing the box like a stranded rugby team staring at each other after crashing on the side of a mountain. Jedi Master = Foundation For New Train Station. (...) I agree. The multitude of Bionicle (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Decisions Decisions...

If you like the 8466 Dave, the I think you'd really like the 8448 supercar too, IMHO. Both vehicles use the new technic panels for styling, as well as the flex axles for that 'flowing' look. These pieces add curvature to the model itself, something (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Decisions Decisions...

Personally I like the Red Super Car more then the 4x4. The evidence of this is my 4x4 is slated for dismantling but my Super Car still sits on display with Olivia at the wheel. I like that it has several different designs, and the engine can be (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Decisions Decisions...

(...) The easy answer is buy it so you'll have a complete series. You have to ask yourself is it really worth it. I suppose no one can truly answer that, except you. The answers from others would carry subjectivity...in varying amounts. Also, I (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Decisions Decisions...

I just received my second 4x4 from Sears--they had 'em on discount again--it's such a nice set... Anywho, do I finally break down and buy the Super Car from S@H? I mean, it's red, looks great, but for 129 American... I'd only be missing one supercar (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: A major concern: Where to find basic bricks?

(...) Or at the very least, offer bulk in more sizes of brick. If they feel like their profit margin is affected. I know this isn't the best optimal outcome, but it may be easiest to implement, and probably one of the best for profit for LEGO. I (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: A major concern: Where to find basic bricks?

(...) Maybe we can cut and paste it later into the Dear Lego or LD areas, once other stuff dies down. :) (...) If they were $20 USD in the States, man, they must have been losing money in Canada. We were getting them for about $17 Canadian ($11 USD) (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: A major concern: Where to find basic bricks?

I think this a very important topic. In fact, it should get posted elsewhere on lugnet too, so it becomes a lot more visible. One of TLCs trademarks is the brick afterall!! Shame they aren't making them anymore! I agree with many of the sentiments (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
