Be there or be a 2x2...

Hi folks, Could everyone in the group try and be at the Friday dinner this week? Primarily because I want to get a small video clip of each person for a video. Well, you don't have to be there. You could also be at the hockey game thing the weekend (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Deal on RCX from Lego.com

(...) They had the RIS 1.5 on for $99 a little while back. Now I can't find them listed at S@H. Must be sold out. Dave (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Looking for a Brickshelf picture

(...) I think I recall something like that, but I can't find it either. You might wanna ask at 1000steine.de ROSCO (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Looking for a Brickshelf picture

I'm trying to find a set of photos on BrickShelf and I haven't had very much luck. It's a European person (Germany, Austria?) who built a Lego train/town layout in his attic. What's cool about the layout is that there is a bridge that goes across (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: check out rtlToronto on the lugnet webpage

(...) Yup. I asked Suzanne for curatorship of rtlToronto (makes sense, I suppose) and also for loc.ca. If you hop over there, you'll see there's a new logo plus lots of information for new Canadian Lego fans: (URL) of that, let me know if you guys (...)   Re: [rtlToronto] Monthly Dinner, Friday June 14th 2002

(...) Ok Iain I'm going to have to call you on this one. When I was in Vancouver I had an opportunity to ride on both of the trains and I have to say I like the new ones. Granted the new ones are a little odd looking, but the aerospace engineer in (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: flag placement

(...) Well, in my mind the problem of finding a randomly placed flag is just as difficult with one or two RCX's. I was actually kind of looking forward to trying out some sneaky methods to find the flag... But I realize that this is really dificult (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: flag placement

(...) Thank you Rob for voicing your concern with this. I was starting to get really discouraged after reading the rules that Calum posted on rtlToronto and thinking about random flag placement (even with two RCX's this would be very difficult). And (...)   Re: flag placement

(...) I think what Calum means is that two RCX's are acceptable... One or two RCX's are both permissible. More than 2 RCX's will have to wait after RTL 11, when there will be rule changes/enhancements/whatever you want to call it. Benjamin Medinets (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Lego Childhood Memories...

(...) Love the pictures, but that's not important right now. :-) (...) I agree completely with the Robotech analegy, however I've been watching it in its original form as Macross and its amazing. A friend of mine recently got the whole thing on DVD. (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: flag placement

(...) Of course. I just modified the webpage to make that more clear. Calum (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: flag placement

(...) I can still enter with one RCX, right? (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Back, to, life, back, to, re-a-li-tay

(...) Let's amend that to, use a power adapter only if you're staying on your own table. If you move across, you shouldn't use AC because there's a possibilty your power cable becomes a fibre weapon. Calum (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: flag placement

(...) That was my mistake. The way it should read is that the flag is in the same place every time, always in the center. I've fixed it-I left the old info in place by accident. If you skip back a few threads, you'll see most people wanted in the (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  flag placement

Hi everyone, I have a question about the placement of the flag... Here is what I read on the rules page: (...) Does this mean the flag is randomly placed somewhere along the centerline of the table? Or is it placed anywhere along the table. I know (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: another castle story published...

(...) Replying to my own post....(shame on me...) :) Anyways, just letting everyone (that is everyone whose interested) that I completed the second chapter in my story.   Re: Back, to, life, back, to, re-a-li-tay

(...) I'm easy. I know what a drain batteries can be. HECK if Rob did not put FRESH batteries in his Project X robot, I would have WON first place, instead of the Glorious Second. But I'm not bitter. :) So, my answer would be Sure, use a power (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
