(...) I LOVE the tank treads. MANY of my unsuccessful robots use them for the Rx games. If I recall, the bot that was more or less KING of the Hill had 3 PAIRS of tank treads. (...) I don't particularly like the treads, because they don't run as smoothly, so I don't use them much. I tried my robot with the synchro drive and its not working out for me either, so i think I'm gonna try out the adder/subtractor drive system (...) How are people's experience with those rubber tracks that come with Mindstorms kits? Can they handle alot of weight and still turn? I was at hte Oakville TRU and they had every other set in multiple copies, but no 7706. It was also interesting to see the MegaBlok rep there with the TRU guy talking about product that wasn't moving... I still shook his hand, however--having (...)
