  Re: Honda

(...) Wish I saw that one, I love that show. They do lots of crashing things into other things, at high speeds. Seeing anything crashed into a concrete wall at 115 km/h would make you feel ill. There are very few vehicals out there that you could (...) (19 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Honda

(...) (URL) It's the video from the British show, someone edited down the show to just the part with the smart crash, and put their own music on top. Dumb, but shows what I was refering to. The way it just EXPLODES off to the side looks so wrong. (...) (19 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  Re: Honda

(...) Well the fortwo is suposedly coming to the US in 2007. I suspect they'll bring the forfour (horrid) down there, too. There is a ~5 month waiting list in Canada for a fortwo cdi. I don't want anyone to take my idea for a custom licence plate if (...) (19 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Honda

(...) Ya :) (4 URLs) This weekend was like, minicar weekend. Stunt Track opened at Wonderland (you ride through scenes from the Italian Job in tricked out Mini Cooper S'). (3 URLs) The launch is very very good. -Iain (19 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  Re: Honda

(...) Apparently Americans don't like hatch backs, so I wouldn't expect a hatch to appear in North America any time soon. I assume that's why the SiR was being build in the UK. Iain you should get a Ridgeline, that's more your style. :-) Derek (19 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Honda

(...) Hey! :) I don't think they sold a lot of those Civic SiR's. They were built in the UK and were very expensive ($30K, IIRC). Plus, the eighth generation Civic is due next year. Calum (19 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Honda

(...) Its probably one of the most fun cars I've ever owned .... even if I do only get to drive it 5 months out of the year. JB who loves his S2000, but did used to really love a zoom zoom years ago (RX7) (19 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Honda

(...) It's has the same horse power as my Element and weighs half as much. You do the math. :-) Or is has the same horse power as Calum's Accord but has you behind the wheel. You do the math. :-) Derek (19 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Few things to wrap up last weekend's train show

(...) <snip> Finally unpacked from the show and found this little critter nestled amongst all my rolling stock I'll bring it to dinner this month Dave K (19 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Apache

Thanks, for the help Dan. Unfortunately the harddrive on my iMac failed about 12 hours after I posted my question. Although it's still under warranty, I don't have time before I head to California to get it replaced, let alone setup to were I had it (...) (19 years ago, 1-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Honda

I was just going to send this to like 2 people but I figure since we are all Honda lovers, I'd just post it here. (URL) love Honda too! Iain (but I'm geting a smart. OMG is the SiR hatch fast though??) PS - Stunt track is DA BOMB. (URL) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: HOLD ME.

(...) You're talking about caged bearings. Caged bearings do have a higher coefficent of friction over non-caged bearings, but the friction is constant (in a normal bearing, the balls come into contact intermitently), the life is extended (...)   Re: Apache

(...) Easy. In the root of the port 80 server, create the following .htaccess file: RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^otherserver/(.*) (URL) [P] And that should be it! Now, requests to anything under that directory will be "proxied" to the other (...) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Apache

Dumb question, because I'm not in the mood to read. I have an Apache server running on my computer. Port 80 and all that. I have another HTTP server running on lets say port 8080. Doesn't matter what it is really, just that it's there. I want to (...) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: HOLD ME.

(...) This is exactly the picture I had in my head when I imagined what a recirculating ballbearing system would be like. It resembles a caterpiller track. Whenever I see a race of ball bearings I always think their should be somthing inbetween them (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

(...) Linear rails and bearings are amazing. Super precise, super rigid, and highly dynamic. The following pictures should give it away without even any text. :) (2 URLs) We make heavy use of linear rails and guides on all of our robots. (URL) (...)   Re: My Kingdom

(...) I adored that show. And my family still talks of the time when Gage and DeSoto are planning on leaving for a vacation, and I stated that there'll be a fire right in front of the station, and sure enuf, a car pulls up with the camper trailer on (...)
