  Re: RC Car

(...) I'm really happy with the Energizer NiMH rechargeables - 2500mAh - 4 for $18 at Home Depot. I have 2 sets of 6, and I use them in my digital camera as well. I use a normal recharger - 5 hours. I'd estimate 30-60 minutes on a charge - depending (...) (20 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: RC Car

(...) Cool! That's what I'm looking for. Although charging in groups of 4 is annoying. Back when I was racing RC Cars I had 4 battery packs. One for each heat at a standard race day. Back then we did all sorts of things to get the batteries to last (...) (20 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: RC Car

I like the Rayovac IC3 NiMH 15 minute rechargeables. NiMH batteries can deliver a lot of current all at once, which I think makes up for the fact that the voltage is lower than an alkaline (1.2 instead of 1.5). They do cost a lot ($30 for 4 at Radio (...) (20 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Well great.

The LDraw rendering of my Mini-fig design I was working on is missing. All I can find is the beginning structure of the legs. Not a good thing.   RC Car

I'm not the proud owner of a lego RC car. Now I need to know what batteries to get for it. What rechargeable are people having the most luck with? How long to they typically last on a charge? Derek (20 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
