| I like the Rayovac IC3 NiMH 15 minute rechargeables. NiMH batteries can deliver a lot of current all at once, which I think makes up for the fact that the voltage is lower than an alkaline (1.2 instead of 1.5). They do cost a lot ($30 for 4 at Radio (...) (20 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
