  Re: Is Black Hair Brunette?

(...) I don't think I've ever met a person who willingly claimed to have auburn hair. In my experience, females tend to claim straight "redhead" if they have the slightest reddish tint (except strawberry-blondes), and men seem to only acknowledge (...) My initial thought was that it ranged from medium-brown (anything dark enough to not be in the sandy-brown/dishwater-blonde range) to dark-brown, and that black fell into its own category. (...) (...) Sitting in my office at work, I couldn't help myself.
