Re: Lego aircraft, and additional S@H stuff

(...) Why only $2.50 for shipping? I too am a Lego Mania club member and the only time they offer discounted shipping is around Christmas. Is this offer a summer special of sorts? -R (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.monlug)

In lugnet.loc.ca.on, Tim Strutt writes: (snip) (...) (snip) (...) Hi ! I've just call S@H Canada and took 3x the 2147. The *very, very nice* woman told me that, as a member of the Club, if I ask for the 1808 (sold out), they will ship me the 2147 as (...)   Re: Lego aircraft, and additional S@H stuff

(...) Well, I was too late for the Cloud Hopper's. S@H is sold out. Hey Kevin, do you have an extra you'd be willing to part with? Anyways, as you mentioned, they have 2147 Dragon Fly available as a substitute, I think it was $16.99US. Not quite as (...)   Re: your next meeting

(...) D'oh! I'll be in New Brunswick next Friday. I leave the 13th and come back on the 19th. If you guys do have it then, I still want to come over and see your collection Jude. And then we should discuss any more bulk purchases too. I wanted to (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: your next meeting

(...) EOQLUG is only for "official" joint meetings. It is more of an alliance than an organization. EOQLUG meetings will take place outside normal ParLUGment and MonLUG meetings. Jude (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: your next meeting

(...) Let's do it next Friday, the 15th. 'Cause my Grandparents are moving this weekend and I am gonna be busy helping them. Besides, my hamster, Gideon can't reach the door handle. :-) Jude (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: your next meeting

(...) That's a good question. Jude, when will you have time? Jeff, is there any days that are bad/good for you? How is Friday evening for everyone? Play well. Tim Strutt 8^) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  your next meeting

Hi, could you tell me when would you hold your next meeting? I would like to participate, unless you want to plan merger (absortion) of MonLUG :-( in EOQLUG. Martin (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Creator 'parts packs'

I checked out the parts list on some of the Creator sets at TRU yesterday. The smaller sets don't have a lot of special parts/colours, but I've done up a list of some of the special/hard-to-find parts for the larger sets. There is a ot more than (...)   Re: MonLUG Meeting

(...) Happy to see none of you in the orbituaries column just yet. The weather is obviously not a Lego fan. (...) It was a pleasure meeting you.   Re: Incoherant stuff about last night's meeting

(...) Nope, I certainly did not. I called the night guy and said "I'm going to be late.", set by alarm for 9am, and was asleep around 4:30am. I got to work at 9:30am, so that wasn't too bad. And I'd do it again... only I wish it hadn't been raining (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.monlug, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: Train 1

Hi Tim, I know what you mean. For a while I was trying to get a 4558 on ebay but they always kept going way too high. However I have finally won my metroliner - two of them in fact! There was two 4558 in one auction from a guy in Germany - no track (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.trains)

  MonLUG Meeting

Well, Jude and I are safely home from our Montreal tour. Pouring rain made our trip back to Ottawa somewhat longer than the trip to Montreal, but it was worth it. Thanks for having us, or me, seeing as Jude is actually a card-carrying MonLUG member. (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.monlug, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

(...) Oh yeah I saw those pieces - quite rare indeed! The average person would just overlook those pieces. :) Good luck in your quest to get your hands on a metroliner! Bryan (23 years ago, 31-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: Train 1

(...) I won a pair of fake electrical contacts for the top of the Metroliner. (URL) going to collect mine piece by piece. Just kidding. I am bidding on 2 right now, and God willing, I hope to get one of them. I'm getting desperate... Tim Strutt 8^) (23 years ago, 31-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

Re: 7121+7161 for $30 at WalMart Lincoln Field

(...) Hi Kevin, Glad to see someone else is cashing in on the good deals. I was tempted by all those rollback items, but I thought I'd see how much I could get them for in a 20-40% off sale, if the Bay, TRU or Zellers happens to have any sales soon. (...) (...) BTW, this ia an open offer to anyone who might want to join us, as long as MonLUG can accomodate us. Jeff, what are you doing Friday night, between say 4pm and midnight? <grin> Play well. Tim Strutt 8^) (23 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)
