  Re: score (Ontario Lego Society)

(...) I for one think an Ontario/Quebec wide get-together would be awesome. I think Ottawa would be a wonderful place to host it too. <grin> Seriously though, I do wish I could get to the rtlToronto/train1 event. I probably won't make it (I'd have (...)   Re: score (Ontario Lego Society)

(...) Don't give up! the Blockminding game is a lot more free form than Stacking, Sumo or Marbles. There's lots of latitude to build cool stuff! Calum (23 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I plan to come to rtl8, but my bot is only 20% done. It is a lot harder than I expected. (23 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: score (Ontario Lego Society)

(...) How long did you take to come up with that one? :) MonLUG is coming out to rtl/train1, an open invitation stands for Parlugment to come out to train1 or rtl8 (May 26 and June 9 respectively, depending on yer bent (train or technic)) of course.   Re: score

Well, it's LEGO, so it's worth it, right? But I know the feeling you mean, thinking "what have I done?" afterwards. I wish I could get you to buy me some more from the LEGO outlet, but I better slow down for now. I've been told our bank account is (...)   Re: score (Ontario Lego Society)

The lot that you won looks well worth it! But, what I don’t understand is why people go out and buy such new sets only to sell them within a year? (I saw that there was an R2 D2 in your lot, therefore I'm assuming that the seller only recently (...)   Re: score

Ya, I got outta hand on that one. I was hoping that the seller would say "No...don't ship to Canada". But he replied that it was fine. So like you said I had better enjoy the box. Heading to the Outlet store myself. Any requests from down here? Jeff (...) (23 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: score

Whoa! That is quite the expensive purchase. I hope you get some good stuff in there. I couldn't justify it to myself, but that's just because I would be looking to spend that much on a single 4558 Metroliner train. <grin> By the way, I noticed that (...) (...) Glad you could come. It was a lot of fun. (...) Oh, he just can't wait to get his hands on my LEGO. I have to get him his own for sure. (...) Yeah, I would love to get more shelves.   Re: ParLUGment 2nd Meeting

First of all, I would like to thank Tim for showing off all his loot. All I could do was smile at all the sets and MOCs. I think young Joshua is more than ready to start playing with Tim's toys. From what I saw Tim is not quite ready to share his (...) (23 years ago, 24-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott)

  ParLUGment 2nd Meeting

Well, the 2nd meeting of ParLUGment went ahead without our fearless leader. Attendees were Jeff Brundige and myself. Not a big turn-out, but it made it easy to get to know each other. The meeting lasted 2.5hrs, and we spent most of the time talking (...) (23 years ago, 14-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott)

(...) D'oh! That's too bad. Well, for ParLUGment that is. Nice that your family can get together, but bad for the rest of us. Well, I can't do it Saturday.   Re: We're alive!

(...) Can't, I found out last night that my family plans on moving Easter dinner to Good Friday to allow my Aunt, who is in from Vancouver, to attend.   Re: We're alive!

(...) Jude, Just wondering if you were still planning for a Friday afternoon meeting? If so, have we decided on a location?
