Re: Supertrain a no go? (was: Re: Making up our collective minds...)

Whatever happened to the guys who came to GETS2000 and were AFOLs? Has any of them contacted anyone of us (NALUG) yet? They might be able to assist with Calgarty. I posted a challenge for locals to host a train show on the Calgary Lugnet site quite (...) (24 years ago, 17-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.loc.ca.ab, lugnet.loc.ca.ab.cal)

Re: Supertrain 2001 (was Re: Making up our collective minds...)

After speaking to the Calgary representative ast GETS 200, I got the definite impression that they absolutely wanted a kids play area. It didn't seem like it would be optional. (...) A "K-8" is a standard size storage box for LEGO. It's about 30"x18"x16". I have one at home, I'll get an exact measurement and post it sometime. JohnG, GMLTC (24 years ago, 17-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

(...) I'm still not sure - Could you please clarify what " K-8 " is/means?
