Hi Todd, my friend and I just started our site (URL) with a little help from Jason of (URL) I was wondering if we could have our own news group? -Alex (24 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: Can we have a Newsgroup for KIDLUG? —Todd Lehman
(...) First, one question and one request: 1) What exactly does KIDLUG stand for? a) Kid (singular non-possessive) LEGO Users Group b) Kids (plural non-possessive) LEGO Users Group c) Kid's (singular possessive) LEGO Users Group d) Kids' (plural (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: Can we have a Newsgroup for KIDLUG? —Aaron Bergman
(...) Hi Todd, I'm Aaron, the "friend" Alex is talking about. KIDLUG is either the KID Lego User's group, or Kid's Lego User's Group. It doesn't matter and it is undecided. We did get that button from a 3rd party, and will replace it, but please (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: Can we have a Newsgroup for KIDLUG? —Todd Lehman

(...) Small Correction. Just so you know, we did have intentions in replacing the buttons anyway, and getting them from the original sources. I don't think Jason did change them, but I think an error occured when I uploaded it. Also, we did get them (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: Can we have a Newsgroup for KIDLUG? —Aaron Bergman
Sorry about that, i looked at the code and the images was stretched. Still, KIDLUG is in it's early stages, and there are bound to be things here and there. This is all on a waiting list, but it may be up to a week before this is fixed. If there is (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: Can we have a Newsgroup for KIDLUG? —Aaron Bergman
(...) Okay. Kidlug is designed for younger kids who are active in the LUG's. We want to give them a LUG of their own which they can relate to, and has simpler activities. To keep things simple, the only important document it has I guess would be the (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: Can we have a Newsgroup for KIDLUG? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Your vision statement should be ONE SENTENCE and you should have it before you start on the other materials. Why?      Excuse me but we make our own dicisions, we are 12 years old, we are specially ordering the process to make it the best it can be, and what I most can't figure out why no one understand's is that Kidlug is NOT SUPPOSED TO BE COMPLICATED.      (...) Vision statements aren't supposed to be complicated. They're supposed to be simple! I'll reiterate.
