Hi .spaceheads and .geeknoids, If you're lucky enough to have broadband and take a look at the "large pictures" on the slideshow...well, just wow. Wowowowow.   Re: Netscape Time Display Problem

(...) System is Windows 95 which is configured to be PDT. Time is reasonably correct (and has been recently synched to a time server). DOS box shows correct time. In lugnet.off-topic.geek, Frank Filz writes: Does your SYSTEM know what time it is? What kind of system is it? If it's Wintel, what do you get when you go to a DOS box and say "time"?   Re: Yet another question for all my math-based friends

Yet another question for all my math-based friends

Is there a standard form for the equation of an "irregular ellipse"? I know that's an oxymoron, but I don't know a better descriptor, other than to say "sort of egg shaped" or "an ellipse slightly pinched on one side." Anyone? Thanks a zil. Dave! (...) Yeah, but the _cheap one_ is $250! I have a Lego habit to support! Seriously, though, one more reason why it wasn't a bad idea to replace the old 486 firewall with a hundred bucks worth of Linksys filtering router. :) On the other hand, I (...) (...) Update: I've built 2 of these Shuttles P3/1ghz, concurrently with a friend's P4 upgrade. They're noisy little pigs, and need tailoring for a happy mix of components.
