I have to say that I've never shopped in the Gap, for a variety of reasons:
i) 'Khaki Pants' means something entirely different in toilet-humour drenched
UK. The Gap have mercilessly invaded UK culture with an annoying advertising
campaign, forever making the phrase "He wears khaki pants" not as amusing as
it once was.
ii) Again, the annoying adverts.. even when they aren't khaki, they are.
iii) Microserfs - claims GAP as the saviour of fashion-challenged geeks,
suggesting that a geek can go in.. buy anything.. mix them together and
thereby not have to think about their clothing choice. Admittedly, that will a
plus reason for a lot of people :)
