Just installed this on my dual celeron box and it runs like a champ, but I'm trying to figure out how to make KDE my default X-windows thingie.... don't like this Gnome stuff much. (...) Ah. Yeah, some of the departments I support do a similar thing. (Largely, we use AFS, but we've got some holdouts....) (...) I really like RPM (and package managers in general). It really gives you a lot of power, and helps keep your system manageable. Anyone know a quick (say, 15 minutes or less) way to kluge up a custom launcher application for a Gnome panel? Something with a small edit box is all that's needed. There's a little capplet called "webcontrol" which ships with RHL6.1 which is (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
