I've made about five attempts to read the trilogy, and each time I make it to the second chapter of the third book before I've lost interest and started reading something else. In Australia, UK, and other places, the thing you have over a sink that water comes out of is called a "tap", whereas in the US (and possibly others) it is called a "faucet". (...) Here in Perth we also had clouds (as we did the last time the Leonids were supposed to be spectacular, back in '98), but fortunately the clouds were due to a lightning storm, which kind of made up for it.
