I've made about five attempts to read the trilogy, and each time I make it
to the second chapter of the third book before I've lost interest and
started reading something else. The first book starts deadly slow, the
second heats up a bit, but by the third book he's bringing in names that
sound too similar to each other, I can't pronounce them, and therefore I
don't remember who's doing what to whom.
As much as a classic as LotR is, I can at least finish the Harry Potter
books.....
