  Re: New helmet and Era.

(...) Only for about a year, but I haven't really embarrased myself (since the first war - ouch!). We've got a fairly solid local core of fighters, a couple of whom are *really* good, and (until I screwed up my knee) I was attending a weekly (...) (...) Doesn't that approach sacralige for a devout Larritarian like you? I mean, I can understand a heathen like me being irreverant, but you? You're like, the second disciple or something, aren't you? James (URL) (26 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: New helmet and Era.

(...) I've been fighting on-and-off since 92, and I've been to 5 Pennsics in that time. In small melees I opt for greatsword (more like mediocre or slightly- above-average-sword), but in mass combat I fall back on sword & board. I would say of my (...) (...) Yup! It's a rush like no other. How long have you/did you fight? (...) That's a lot of steel. And just in helmets - when you consider that most of the heavies out there also have steel knees, well... And I'm not even going to go into how many (...)   Re: New helmet and Era.

(...) Then you're in for a real treat, if you can ever make it to Pennsic! A very conservative estimate puts the main field battle at about 2000 participants--very possibly upward of 3500 some years. It's probably the epitome of geekness, but (...) (26 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: New helmet and Era.

(...) Nope, I haven't made a Pennsic yet... hopefully this year - it depends on how the holiday time works out. I was at Clinton this year, which is the biggest war I've been too - ~300 heavies on the field, I think. I think the reason the kettle (...) (26 years ago, 27-Dec-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Merry Christmas from the Libertarian Party

Just come to my mind. Is there a word as "noel" in English or other western languages? I just realized that we call Santa Claus(1) as "Noel Baba" which means "father noel" or "noel father", and I just wondered what is the origin of this name. Selçuk (...)   Re: My ReVUE: 6520

(...) The reason for the regulator is that the tyres on the 540i cannot handle speeds over 155MPH. Change the tyres and then get the regulator removed and you'll have a faster wagon. (26 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: My ReVUE: 6520

(...) Well ya, the legal limit in the US generally tops out around 75 or so, Unfortunately Montana has abandoned their "reasonable and prudent speed" limit and switched to 75, I think. 155 is fairly fast for a wagon. (26 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: My ReVUE: 6520

(...) It has a speed regulator that does not allow it to go faster. The fastest model available is the M5, but in sedan only, not wagon. (26 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
