| (...) Well ya, the legal limit in the US generally tops out around 75 or so, Unfortunately Montana has abandoned their "reasonable and prudent speed" limit and switched to 75, I think. 155 is fairly fast for a wagon. (25 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

| (...) The reason for the regulator is that the tyres on the 540i cannot handle speeds over 155MPH. Change the tyres and then get the regulator removed and you'll have a faster wagon. (25 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
