Yah, you see there. You are asking the questions that the government does not
want answered. I learned a little bit of government thinking in that job, and
they don't address issues like that. Yes, now that this has been publicized it
is highly likely that some extremist group will use it for their own ends. But,
the government is only trying to gain favor with groups that until now have been
pushed aside or that the government has turned its back toward. All for the
benefit of peace making and gaining votes, a politicians sworn duty. They will
of course, if pushed, will not support this matter any further. It would be the
same as some author trying to get government support because his book is sold in
government run stores. The government won't do it.
As for the classification of the book, National Monument visitor centers do not
shelve their books according to fiction and non-fiction, only by geology,
history, biology, etc. They will probably stick it under geology and let people
make up their own minds. Again, not addressing this can of worms.
Promoting freedom of speech without promoting what anyone says.
